How to prepare for a business advice appointment
A business advice appointment is all the more useful when it is well prepared. No need for a fifty-page file: a few elements are enough.
Come with one main question. “Should I go into business with this person?”, “Is this the right time to start?”, “How can I relaunch my business?”: a clear question gives the conversation a direction.
Gather the essentials. A few key figures, the important deadlines, the people involved. The aim is an overview, not every detail.
Write down what worries you. Intuitions count as much as spreadsheets: unease about a partner or a project deserves to be put on the table.
Think about afterwards. What do you expect when you leave the appointment: a decision, an action plan, an outside view? Saying it at the start helps get there.
The appointment takes place in person. The address is given in your client area as soon as your slot is confirmed.
